CASA DE FEDERICO GARCIA LORCA EN VALDERRUBIO Federico García Lorca, nace en Fuente Vaqueros en el año 1898, pero su familia se trasladó a Asquerosa (Actual Valderrubio), en el 1904, cuando solo contaba con cinco años. El 23 de junio de 1907, Federico y su hermano Francisco a la edad de 9 y 5 años respectivamente recibieron la confirmacion de manos del Arzobispo de Granada, así esta recogido en los archivos parroquiales de la entonces Asquerosa (Valderrubio). HISTORIA En 1319, durante el reinado de Alfonso XI el Justiciero, rey de Castilla y León, se desarrolló en el Cerro de los Infantes, cercano a la localidad de Pinos Puente, la batalla conocida como el Desastre de la Vega de Granada, en la que el ejército castellano-leonés fue derrotado por el ejército del Sultán de Granada Ismail I de Granada y sus dos capitanes resultaron muertos.
